An online advert for a two-bed flat in a popular area of a Yorkshire city is inviting "offers in excess of £10."

The modest sum may or may not be a misprint by Rightmove, but the flat on Wostenholm Road, Nether Edge, Sheffield, is likely to go for significantly more than a tenner. Nether Edge has previously been described as one of the 'best places to live in the North'.

It was described by the Sunday Times as a "family-friendly suburb" with cosy coffee shops and outstanding schools. It is to be the catchment area for some of the best schools.

According to estate agent Hallam Hills, the Wostenholm Road flat is in a 'highly sought after area", has two bedrooms, a modern bathroom and a tiled kitchen.

The living room is said to be spacious and comes with a leather sofa and some chairs. The property is described as a 'great investment opportunity' and with good transport links and is said to be within walking distance of the town centre and main universities.

On the Hallam Hills website, the property is listed as being 'new on the market' and is advertised beneath the sum of just £1 with the phrase 'offers invited'.

The sales details state: "2 bedroom flat with spacious rooms, modern bathroom, tiled kitchen. Located Close to City Centre. Served Excellently by public transport. Located in a highly sought-after area."

The building itself is understood to be made up of a number of leasehold flats, according to Rightmove. One of the flats sold for £169,000 in 2018, according to Rightmove.
