Yorkshire's King Birthday Honours full list for 2024 from school leaders to restaurant owners and charity campaigners

Humble heroes in Yorkshire have earned themselves a spot on the Honours list for 2024 for their display of selfless service.

A number of people from across Yorkshire are being recognised for their hard work and dedication to the UK. They will be made members of the Order of the British Empire or be awarded medals from King Charles III as part of the third honours list of his reign.

This year the awardees include West Oaks School, Leeds headteacher, for his services to Children and Young People. As well as Salvo's Restaurant director and managing director for services to Hospitality and a Karma Nirvana and Human Rights Campaigner, for services to the Victims of Child, Forced Marriage and Honour-Based Abuse.
