It is the ultimate Sloane Ranger’s crash pad, just yards from King’s Road and a five-minute stroll from Peter Jones — on sale at a relatively affordable £275,000.

But there is a catch: the bijou studio is so tiny that the owner could touch both sides of the main room at the same time.

Toby Whittome, of estate agents Jackson-Stops, said it was one of the smallest properties he had seen on offer in the cherished SW3 Chelsea postcode.

The 204 sq ft flat — which has the armspan-width main room, a bedroom “alcove” and a bathroom — is let at £235 a week.

Mr Whittome said it would be ideal for a worker who lived outside London but needed to be there on weeknights.

Gary Murphy, of auctioneers Allsop, said it was an “enviable pied-à-terre in a beautiful Chelsea mansion block… at a very competitive figure”.
