Zayn Malik And Perrie Edwards Engagement: What We Know About The Wedding So Far!

Zayn Malik broke hearts across the globe back in August when his engagement to Perrie Edwards was confirmed and with reports surfacing this week suggesting that the 1D stud is trying to bag a performance from Journey at their wedding - we decided to take a look back through what we know (or think we know!) about the hot couple's eagerly anticipated big day.

It's not going to be your average wedding

Zayn recently admitted that his wedding to Little Mix babe Perrie will be "unconventional", with the hunk speaking out during a pre-recorded show, set to be streamed on the CW network in the US, amid the boys' Midnight Memories promo.

During the show, according to preview clips, the loved up popstar was questioned about how his wedding plans were going and - for a boy - he seemed to have at least a few details sorted.

"Nah, I've decided it is going to be unconventional. I'm going to have five or six best men!" he replied when asked if he's picked a best man.

There may be a showbiz performer

Despite being in two of the biggest bands out there, Zayn also hinted that it won't be them performing on the day, with him trying to get Steve Perry, from band Journey (who Perrie is named after!) to belt out Don't Stop Believin'.

Zayn said: "I know my missus wants the lead singer from Journey (Steve Perry). We'll see what we can do about that."

A source also told The Sun recently that Zayn is doing everything he can to make Perrie's dreams come true regarding the performance.

They may tie the knot at the end of next year

Despite the pair not having many plans as of yet when it comes to their big day, Zayn's mum Trisha recently spilled some goss to the BBC, saying that they are thinking about getting wed next year.

She also couldn't resist gushing over the Kiss You superstar's other half.

"Perrie is a lovely girl and I get on really well with her," Trisha revealed. "They're thinking of the end of next year, although no date has yet been set yet".

They could be heading to the beach

Despite also being quoted previously as saying that she'd like to tie the knot in the UK, Perrie reportedly told The Mirror last month that she's also tempted to get wed on a beach.

"I think maybe Barbados; I would like it on the beach. There may well be an Indian element for Zayn's family... I'd like that," she said, according to the publication.

It's not going to be too long before the big day...SOB!

Despite staying fairly quiet about when they'll be getting married, Perrie reportedly said in a recent interview with The Mirror that she doesn't want to be engaged for too long.

"The engagement kind of just happened and then we've been away from home all year. But, put it this way: I don't want to be engaged for 50 years. We'll get there soon."

All eyes on Perrie!

The Wings babe spoke out, back in September, about what kind of wedding dress she's after and by the sounds of it, she'll be looking incredible!

“I can wear my smoky eye. I want a vintage dress so a purple lip could go,” she told Heat magazine, “Well actually… now that you’ve said it I’ll have to look into it. Make a collection of wedding make- up."
