YouTube stars Zoe Sugg and Alfie Deyes expecting first child together

Social media stars Zoe Sugg and Alfie Deyes have announced they are expecting their first child together.

Sugg shared on her Instagram that they are preparing to welcome a baby girl with a due date of September.

She told her 9 million followers: "We’re super excited to share with you, that our baby girl will be joining us in September 💕👶🏼."

A video montage posted to the 30-year-old's page showed clips of the pair attending a scan and holding up an ultrasound picture, with another shot showing Deyes holding up a baby grow.

Deyes, 27, announced the news to his 3.7 million followers in a video which saw Sugg sit on his lap and unfold a string of scan pictures.

It comes as the couple, who reside in Brighton, celebrated their eighth anniversary together back in October 2020

Sugg found fame via her blog Zoella which she launched in 2009 before she expanded into video content on YouTube.

The main Zoella channel currently has 11.1 million subscribers while a second vlogging account has 4.8 subscribers. She's also put her name to beauty ranges and homeware products and has released five books.

Meanwhile, Deyes has over nine million subscribers across three accounts after first launching his Youtube career with his PointlessBlog channel in 2009.

Social media stardom runs in the family, as Sugg's brother is YouTuber and former Strictly Come Dancing contestant Joe Sugg.
