Kylie To Headline Huge Hyde Park Summer Show

Popstar Kylie Minogue has been named as the headliner for the third night of a series of outdoor concerts taking place in London's Hyde Park this summer.

The singer will top the bill for the final night of the British Summer Time series, alongside a line-up which features Grace Jones and Nile Rodgers with Chic.

Minogue's appearance has been announced after she was named Australian Of The Year in the UK at a ceremony in London at the weekend, during the annual Australia Day Gala.

Already announced for other shows in the Barclaycard Presents British Summer Time Hyde Park series have been Taylor Swift and The Who.

Can't Get You Out Of My Head star Minogue, who will perform at the event on 21 June, said: "I'm so excited to perform at Hyde Park this summer.

"I have great memories of playing shows there and am looking forward to doing it all again. Given the amazing artists performing and that it will be the longest day of the year, I can't wait."

The star is causing excitement with the forthcoming release of her collaboration with disco pioneer Giorgio Moroder, called Right Here, Right Now.

Tickets go on general sale from Friday 30 January at www.bst-hydepark.com .
