Police appeal after two hurt in hit-and-run crash in North East town
Police have appealed for witnesses after a hit-and-run crash in a North East town last week.
Cleveland Police said two vehicles crash on Wolviston Road in Billingham on Thursday, April 18 at around 6.15pm.
The collision involved an Audi and a black or grey vehicle.
A Cleveland Police spokesperson said: "The driver of the Audi suffered broken ribs and a broken finger while the passenger suffered bruising to the stomach and shoulder and a lump on the head.
"The driver of the other vehicle did not stop at the scene and enquiries are currently ongoing to trace them.
