The family who live in the £1 million property in Wimbledon were not at home at the time of the collapse.

It is thought the house may have collapsed because the basement was not properly supported during renovations.

The home on Kingston Hill, south west London, is close to the Wimbledon Tennis Club and Richmond Park.

Hundreds of bricks lie piled up where the home used to stand.
