Aaron declares his love for David

Aaron confides in David with his resentment over how Fay abandoned him when he was only 13 – an age when he was only just coming to terms with his own sexuality. With David's support, Aaron manages to have a heart-to heart discussion with his mother, something that's never happened before.

Fay also takes a shine to David. This culminates in Aaron saying the "L" word to David when they're later alone. But will David say it back, or will Aaron be left hanging?

Meanwhile, having received a highly emotional letter from Russell Brennan, who's begging for forgiveness, Sheila is keen to introduce herself to Fay. It turns out that Russell has also been in contact with Fay, seeking forgiveness from her as well, but she has been avoiding him. Curious about his father's sudden desire to make amends, Mark encourages Fay to investigate the situation – stating that if she doesn't do it, he will.

Elsewhere, concerned about the effects of Terese's chemotherapy treatment, Gary seeks advice from Steph. Later on, how far will Gary go to help Terese?
