Abbey Clancy cheekily snubs her husband Peter Crouch
The model and presenter revealed her husband was offended when she told him she was making her own 'enriching' podcast without him.
What did you miss?
Abbey Clancy has admitted husband Peter Crouch felt snubbed by her new solo podcast project.
The Britain's Next Top model star appeared on The One Show to discuss her new podcast Exhibit A in which she interviews high achievers in all walks of life to find out the secrets to their success. But Clancy admitted former footballer Crouch was a little offended when he found out she wanted to host a podcast without him.
Clancy told hosts Alex Jones and Jermaine Jenas that the idea for her new podcast came about following an interview she did for her joint project The Therapy Crouch which she has hosts with husband Crouch.
What, how and why?
Clancy, 38, married Crouch, 43, in 2011 and they have four children together. In January 2023 they became the latest celebrity couple to launch a podcast together - The Therapy Crouch, in which they discussed relationship issues and opened up about the trials and tribulations in their own marriage.
Now Clancy is going solo. She told The One Show: "I do my podcast Therapy Crouch with Pete and we had a doctor on for just one episode and he delivered all my babies, he's the most incredible doctor, for women.
"And he offered to help for one more week and we had such an amazing response. People were going 'thank you for talking about your fertility journey and everything. So I thought why don't we do another podcast where we can enrich people's lives, motivate them and help them. There where it was born.
"And Pete's like 'So I don't enrich you when you're talking to me?! Do you not feel enriched when we are on The Therapy Crouch together?' "
Model Clancy - who won the 11 the series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2013 - also let slip that she has always secretly wanted a pop career.

She was joined on the sofa by actor Chris O'Dowd who stars in Apple TV series The Big Door Prize, about a small town which discovers a machine that can tell people their true life potential. Asked what she would hope the machine would predict for her, Clancy said: "I was actually going to say popstar. But I don't think anyone wants to see a near-40-year-old with four kids in some tight glittery leotard dancing round a stage, do you?"
Chris Moyles recently revealed Clancy was in a pop band called Genie Queen when she was 17.
What else happened on The One Show?
O'Dowd, 44, confirmed he and wife, the writer Dawn O'Porter have decided to leave Los Angeles and move their family home back to to the UK. But The ITV Crowd star admitted he had managed to avoid the moving process due to work commitments, so his wife had been left to do it all on her own.
The Irish star said he was pleased to have moved "closer to home". But he confessed: "I'm promoting the show at the moment as you know so I was in New York last week when the actual house move was happening. It was so unfortunate, my wife had to do it all on her own, I couldn't be moved, what are you going to do, I couldn't do it? I felt really bad. But it's nice being back. Loads of lovely drizzle."
O'Dowd and O'Porter marred in 2012 and have two children together.
The One Show airs on BBC One at 7pm Monday to Friday.
