All Aboard: Cat Greets Commuters at Stevenage Train Station

A ginger rescue cat has delighted commuters after it made a second home out of a busy train station in Stevenage, England.

Nala, who is often found sitting at a ticket gate at the Stevenage railway station, greets commuters who pass through the station every day.

Nala’s owwner Natasha Ambler runs a Facebook page and TikTok account where she regularly shares photos people have taken of their encounters with Nala.

Speaking to Storyful, Ambler said Nala is fitted with a tracking device and that she loves to explore the outdoors. The feline makes regular visits to the station and to a nearby leisure park, Ambler added.

Nala wears a collar bearing her name and a contact number for Ambler, who said she had to get a second tag after she was inundated with phone calls from people assuming Nala was lost.

The cat typically makes her own way to the station and returns home each night for dinner, Ambler said. Credit: Nala_Station_Cat via Storyful
