Adele invites drag doppelgänger on stage for a sing-along

Adele was joined on stage by her drag doppelgänger as she kicked off the Australia leg of her world tour.

The 28-year-old singer called up drag performer DJ Feminem for a selfie and a song at the Domain Stadium in Perth.

The duo bonded over their custom made gowns before documenting the moment with a picture – but Adele wasn’t happy.

“Why didn’t you tell me I had such a sweaty face?,” she said before joking: “You look better than me, that’s not allowed.”

Feminem – who refers to herself as Perth's Favorite Drag Queen – also belted out the lyrics to Rumour Has It.

Speaking to local Radio 6PR about the “crazy” experience she said: “I kind of caught her eye in the first 15 minutes of the show and she gave me a bit of a wink and a wave and I was just having fun.”

Feminem said she was overwhelmed by the number of people waiting for her after the concert had finished: “After the show I just got mobbed by people wanting selfies and coming up and saying hello.

“That was pretty full on but it was nice to talk to everyone.”

Adele headed to Australia for a string of dates after scooping five gongs at the Grammy Awards last month.

The Rolling in the Deep singer took home Song of the Year, Record of the Year, Best Solo Pop Performance, Best Pop Vocal Album and the coveted Album of the Year.

She snapped her Album of the Year trophy in two and dedicated it to Beyonce who she praised for "empowering" her "black friends".
