With the hayfever season well underway this spring it might be the time to get a gadget that could help you, at least indoors, from the potential of pollen overload. Getting an air purifier can help make the air in your house a bit more manageable and Amazon is currently selling one with 23% off that has 85,000 ratings with an average of 4.5 stars.

The Leviot Air Purifier is currently £84.99, down from £109.99, and one five-star reviewer said it has made a "big difference" to their life by trapping the particles in their home. The Leviot Core 300 provides four types of filters for purchase: original filter, pet allergy filter, toxin absorber filter, mould and bacteria filter for choose from. It's effective in up to 80m square rooms.

And working with ultra-fine Prefilter and activated carbon filter, the purifier's HEPA filter traps allergens like dust, pollen, mould spores, pet hair, and reduces unwanted odours from pets, smoke, cooking fumes. The gadget also has a timer and has a sleep mode, perfect to keep the bedroom fresh without any unwanted noise, too.

The five-star reviewer said of the machine: "The purifier has really made a big difference to our lives by trapping particles like dust, hair, fibres and pet hair and filtering the air we breathe in around the home and works in room sizes of upto 40 m². "

A second five-star reviewer, who has bought several more, added: " These highly efficient air purifiers and the large capacity filter drum, readily available on Amazon, has a 3-stage true HEPA Filter. It filters air free of 99.97% of pollutants as small as 0.3 µm such as dust mites, pet dander, and pollen trapping dust and micro particles and passes air through a final carbon filter."

And a third fan of the purifier said: " I have only had it 3 weeks and already there is a noticeable difference in dust and my breathing I found the difference so noticeable I ordered one for the living room which arrived today and already the air quality is brilliant."

One lower-rated reviewer said they found the product works well but was unhappy with the price of the replacement filters. Others had problems with the unit squeaking and also they felt it didn't work in a large enough space as was reference.
