Alabama shooting: Manhunt under way as gunman in camouflage kills police officer and wounds two others
A manhunt is under way after a gunman in camouflage shot dead an Alabama police officer and wounded two others.
The three officers were shot at while responding to a "routine domestic call" at a trailer park in south Auburn, officials said.
One of the officers was airlifted from the scene and later died, Lee County Coroner Bill Harris said.
The other two were rushed to hospital following the incident. One is in a critical condition, Mr Harris added.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency is now hunting Grady Wayne Wilkes, 29, last seen on foot wearing body armour and a helmet.
A motive for the shooting remains unclear.
