Alison Hammond opens up about son Aidan's love life and sad reason relationship ended

Alison Hammond has opened up about her son's love life as she revealed he was currently single but had recently split with his girlfriend for a sad reason. Alison shares son Aidan, 19, with ex Noureddine Boufaied, who she split from in 2014.

Speaking on Josh Widdicombe and Rob Beckett's Parenting Hell podcast, Alison was asked if Aidan had 'brought anyone home yet'. Alison told the hosts: "He did bring a girlfriend, who's really nice actually. She was a lovely girl, I really liked her, but then went off with his mates to Zante, had a lovely time, came back and they kind of finished.

"And I was like 'Why did it finish darling?', and he was like 'Well I think she might have thought that I might have been naughty in Zante. I said 'Was you naughty in Zante' - 'No I just had a good time with my mates and stuff like that."

She added: "That age, they're a bit insecure, but I think he's happy being single at the moment. I think he's just chilled being single and he's happy.

"He's happy with his career, his gaming and his mates. He's got no love interest at the moment."

Alison also confirmed on the podcast that she is not single after she spoke for the first time about her relationship with Russian toyboy David Putman, who is 20 years her junior.

Rob Beckett asked “Are you single Alison?” Alison replied: “No… I’m not single.. I’m dating. I’m dating!” Speaking about her son's reaction, she said: “When they actually met, he really liked him, he really thought he was lovely, so that’s nice. Thank goodness for that! Because normally Aiden hates anybody I date, literally just not interested.

"And you just know at that point, if Aiden doesn’t like them, this isn’t gonna work. There are moments where I think, ‘who’s the parent here?!"

Aidan has been building a career DJing and has landed his first ever slot at a music festival this summer. He will be playing Camp Bestival.

Sharing a snap of him behind the decks, Aiden wrote: "I AM PLAYING AT MY FIRST EVER FESTIVAL @campbestival.

"I will be playing on Saturday 27th of July in the Bollywood tent from 7-8pm so if you like house music get your tickets and come see me play big thanks to @campbestival."
