Alison Hammond shares thoughts on her 'twin' waxwork as fans say 'wow'

Alison Hammond's fans were left amazed by the likeness of her wax work as it was unveiled on This Morning - and Alison was also impressed. The Brummie TV legend has been immortalised by Madam Tussauds in Blackpool.

Alison, 49, was stunned as the waxwork was unveiled on This Morning. "Oh my god! Does it look like me?" Alison asked as she rushed over to stand next to it.

"It's so good," her co-host Dermot replied. Alison said it was "so weird" to be able to see herself from behind, before joking that she thought the waxwork was even "more beautiful" than herself.

She also shared her thoughts on her likeness on social media, writing: "Twin where have you been !! Definitely a moment thanks so much for incredible honour @madamtussauds Blackpool and @thismorning for getting the other me on the show.

"I can’t tell you how incredible it is to see yourself immortalized in Wax . It’s just Amazing !! Photos @kenmckayphoto."

While some waxworks can be a little lacking, fans were amazed by the true likeness of Alison's representation. Strictly star Angela Scanlon wrote: "WHAT A SMILE."

One fan commented: "One of the best wax works I’ve seen x," while a second commented: "So alike. Wow!!"

A third echoed: "I am a twin it's fantastic, congratulations on your wax work she looks amazing as you." And a fourth added: "Wow."
