'We Have Always Bounced Back': Fiji PM Shares Cyclone Harold Update With Granddaughter

The Fijian Prime Minister, Frank Bainimarama, recorded a message with his granddaughter Sunshine, after Cyclone Harold damaged buildings, caused flooding, and prompted evacuations across the islands.

The cyclone hit the Pacific island of Vanuatu on April 6, progressing to Fiji on April 8. About 10 houses in Suva, Fiji’s capital, were reported destroyed but there were no immediate reports of deaths, according to officials.
