Alzheimer's Society is set to host a new Memory Walk in Hull this year, with thousands expected to participate.

The event, which will take place at East Park on Saturday, September 21, is one of 26 happening across England, Wales and Northern Ireland, all aimed at creating a future free from dementia.

Registration for the Hull walk is now open, with people encouraged to sign up for free at memorywalk.org.uk. Dementia is currently the UK's biggest killer, with one in three people born in the UK today likely to develop the condition. Every step taken and pound raised will help to fund Alzheimer’s Society’s vital dementia support and research.
