Yahoo News Amanda Owen says co-parenting arrangement with ex husband is 'not a big story'
The Yorkshire Shepherdess said that many people are in similar parenting arrangements to her and former partner Clive
Amanda Owen believes that her co-parenting arrangement with ex-husband Clive is "not a big story" and that there are many families all over the world living his way.
The 48-year-old farmer and TV personality, known as The Yorkshire Shepherdess, split from her husband last year after more than 20 years of marriage.

He continues to live on the farm and helps with parenting their nine children, which Owen said during an interview on Tuesday's episode of Lorraine was not a big deal.
"That's what we have to do. It's not a big story. There's so many people in similar situations," she said.
Owen added: "It's that reality. We talk about reality television, but that is the reality. We all have to get on.
"You know what, there's a lot to do. There's the land to manage, the animals to manage, obviously childcare, everything else. We just have to get on with it."

Owen previously presented Our Yorkshire Farm alongside her husband, with that show now replaced by a spin-off starring Clive and their 18-year-old eldest son Reuben.
She will instead front the new Channel 4 series Amanda Owen's Farming Lives, in which she travels the UK to shine a spotlight on the challenges of modern farming.
Despite all of the travelling causing separation between her and the kids, Owen said she always has one eye on what's happening at home.
She said: "You're always mindful of what's going on at home, so you're micro-managing.

"Even this morning I've been getting messages. Someone wants some new tights, someone's forgotten that they've got swimming lessons and I've got one child ill today.
"So it all carries on. You take it with you, don't you?"
Owen said she is "content" with her current circumstances and said she is always mindful of taking steps to ensure she doesn't experience burnout with her heavy workload.
She said: "You do have to take a bit of time for yourself. Every morning, even if I'm only gonna be out feeding sheep and around the farm, I take a little bit of self-care for five minutes.

"Get the old moisturiser on, a little bit of mascara, and it makes you feel better about yourself."
Amanda Owen's Farming Lives starts on Channel 4 on 25 January.
