Amazon Fire Stick, TV and games console owners getting 10 new channels for free

A free boost is coming to streaming devices, giving viewers loads more choice via a host of extra channels. Owners of gadgets such as Amazon Fire TV Sticks, Samsung TVs and gaming consoles look like they're in for a treat with a major channel expansion.

The streaming giant DAZN has announced the launch of 10 new sports channels that viewers can enjoy at no extra cost. This update will bring round-the-clock coverage of events spanning boxing, darts, motorsport, and more. DAZN is rolling out this update in collaboration with on-demand video specialists Amagi, hailing it as a key step in its mission to deliver more sports entertainment for fans everywhere.

"Through DAZN's free tier, fans will be able to access a huge range of sport for free, including even more of the best combat sport. Leveraging DAZN's worldwide reach and market-leading technology, these channels will unlock the best sports action in new ways," said Shay Segev, CEO of DAZN Group.

The extra channel selection includes Matchroom Boxing, Boxing TV, PDC Darts, Motorvision TV, Lacrosse TV, Padel TIME TV, SportStak, Moto America TV, Billiard TV, and ACL Cornhole TV. All of these will be available to watch for free, but viewers will encounter adverts that help fund the platforms' operations.

DAZN now provides both paid and free content, with the platform recently airing the major fight night between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk. Those willing to shell out £14.99 per month can also enjoy the Saudi Pro League, MMA, Liv Golf action, and more.

It's accessible on a variety of devices, including Samsung TVs, LG screens, Android TV, Apple TV, PlayStation, Xbox, and Amazon Fire TV Sticks.
