American Horror Story season 8 adds two new guest stars

American Horror Story is coming back for an eighth season and we've just learnt that there'll be two new additions to the show – Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman and Kyle Allen – who'll be joining as guest stars.

You might know Bowyer-Chapman from UnReal and Allen was recently in Hulu's The Path, where he played Hawk Lane. They become the latest additions to Ryan Murphy's highly popular horror TV show.

Unfortunately, there's no news regarding who they will play in the series yet. FX have been very good at keeping as much information about American Horror Story under wraps as they can.

This news comes courtesy of a leaked photo from the set of American Horror Story season 8 of two chairs with the actors' names on them. A fan account shared the photo.

The eighth season will take place in the not-so-distant future and will be a crossover of the first and third season (Murder House and Coven respectively). It's also said to involve witches after showrunner Ryan Murphy teased "witches rule this September".

Emma Roberts has hinted that she'll be reprising her role as Madison Montgomery in the upcoming season.

American Horror Story regulars Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Kathy Bates and Billie Lourd will also be returning. Paulson has previously played the medium Billie Dean Howard in the first and fifth seasons, as well as Miss Robichaux's Academy headmistress Cordelia Foxx in the third season.

Joan Collins will also be joining the cast in season 8 and will be playing Evan Peters's grandmother.

American Horror Story season 8 will premiere on Season 8 will premiere on September 12 on FX.
