One of the biggest weeks of the year in Hong Kong is Art Week, when the best and brightest in the international art scene flock to the city to peruse the works of artists including Jeff Koons, Tracey Emin and Austrian artist Egon Schiele.
The week also coincides with the star-studded amfAR Gala, held to raise money for the Foundation for AIDS Research.
Monday night's event saw stars including Nicole Scherzinger, Heidi Klum and Pharrell attend in support of the charity at the Rosewood Hong Kong.
Klum, who arrived in a gown which featured an unusual racer back detail, was accompanied by her fiance Tom Kaulitz of band Tokio Hotel.
This is Klum's second amfAR Gala of the year - she also attended the New York event in February.
Klum and Tom Kaulitz announced their engagement on Christmas Eve last year and looked loved up, sharing a kiss in front of the cameras.
Pharrell and his wife Helen Lasichanh also turned out in co-ordinating monochrome looks.
amFAR regular Michelle Yeoh also returned to the city which helped launch her film career, dressed in a whimsical mint gown not far removed from her Crazy Rich Asians character.
Singer Nicole Scherzinger also arrived wearing a one shouldered silver gown that swept the floor.
Tarzan’s Alexander Skarsgard was also in attendance, dressed in a crisp black suit and the slightest hint of a tropical sunburn.
Hong Kong’s own Donnie Yen - who has since made a name for himself starring in films like Ip Man and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story - also returned home to support the gala.
South Korean superstar Choi Jin Hyuk got the black tie dress code memo with a crisp bow tie, cummerbund and white pocket square.
Earlier this year, the New York edition of amfAR took place and it was a similarly high profile affair.
Kim and Kourtney Kardashian, Alan Cumming, Milla Jovovich, Michelle Rodriguez were in attendance as well as a slew of supermodels including Heidi Klum (again), Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Winnie Harlow, Elsa Hosk and Chanel Iman.
