Amir Khan's Twitter says he's split from 'Golddigger' wife Faryal Makhdoom
Amir Khan’s Twitter account says he and his wife Faryal Makhdoom are getting divorced.
The 30-year-old British boxer wed the glamorous brunette in New York in 2013 against the wishes of his family.
A number of puzzling messages have now appeared on the social media site, including one which says the couple has split and another claiming that fellow boxing champ Anthony Joshua is involved in their breakup.
But the bizarre tweets have sparked rumours that his account has been hacked.
So me and the wife Faryal have agreed to split. I'm currently in Dubai. Wish her all the best.

And now Joshua has responded to the story, quoting Shaggy’s 2000 smash hit single ‘It Wasn’t Me.
Within the last hour he posted the video to the chart banger and followed it with a tweet saying he has never met Amir’s wife and he prefers ‘big beautiful women’.
Bantz aside, I hope you guys can resolve your situation or this is a hack as we have never even met! Plus I like my women BBW #ItWasntMe

Earlier this year, Faryal accused her in-laws of trying to beat her up.
The 25 year old – who shares a two-year-old daughter called Lamaisah with Amir – alleged on Snapchat that her “evil, hating sister-in-law” Mariyah “came to hit” her when her husband was not at home.
In a post on Facebook, she added: ‘There are many women who suffer in silence due to ill treatment from the in-laws. This dark side is usually kept hidden.
‘We need woman at all levels, including the top, to change the dynamic, reshape the conversation, to make sure women’s voices are heard and heeded, not overlooked and ignored.
‘I am every abused woman’s voice and I am grateful for my husband’s support throughout my ordeal.’
