Yahoo News Anastacia pranks Swedish Pop Idol and gets a big NO
Anastacia has been having a little fun pranking in her downtime while recording her new album in Sweden.
Music producer Anders Bagge, who is also one of the judges on Sweden Idol, convinced her to audition for the show with one of her own songs, so she did and it led to hilarious results.
Anastacia wrote on Facebook: "So when i was out in Stockholm recording with Anders Bagge, he convinced me i had 2 come to Idol and audition.
"Watch the full clip to see what they all thought of me and if I'd make it as a pop star."
She dressed down for the audition and didn't quite look herself, but then when she launched into her huge hit 'I'm Outta Love', it was so clear she was the real deal.
However, it seemed that one judge really wasn't convinced and told her so.
She didn't get terrible comments from the panel – they were fairly complimentary with Anastacia being told she "ALMOST sounds like Anastacia" but not that much like her.
"A person can not sound like Anastacia almost on the dot without having some kind of talent, but right now, you are not it.
"You're much too nervous and it's way too late."
Ha, bet they all felt like right wallies when they found out it was her all along.
