Angry Eagle Takes On Drone In The Sky... Can You Guess Who Won?

An angry eagle took on a drone in the Australian sky - and ended up punching it straight back down to the ground.

Astonishing footage filmed near Melbourne shows the gadget coming under violent attack from the massive Wedge-Tailed Eagle.

The drone, which was under the control of Melbourne Aerial Video, is seen soaring into the air when it’s spotted by the gigantic bird.

The furious ball of feathers then suddenly sweeps in and crashes into the device, which is sent spiralling to Earth.

The moment just before the Eagle smashed into the drone

“Eagle was fine - she was massive, and used talons to ‘punch’ the drone out of the sky,” videographer Adam Lancaster wrote in the description of the clip he posted online.

He also urged other drone users not to fly the crafts near birds of prey.

“Do not fly drones near birds of prey. They clearly attack seeing you as a threat or the right sized dinner,” he stated.

“This will cost you money and potentially harm to the bird. This one was fine.. the drone needed some attention before it could fly again,” he added.

Lancaster posted the clip to YouTube on Saturday. It’s since gone viral with more than 1.2 million views.
