Ant-Man and The Wasp star teases a "mind-blowing" film
The Marvel universe keeps on growing – and actor David Dastmalchian has has teased that we have something "mind-blowing" to look forward to.
Dastmalchian plays Scott Lang's burglar mate Kurt in the first Ant-Man film and will be reprising his role in the sequel, Ant-Man and The Wasp.
And, despite the fact that the sequel won't even begin filming until July this year, it seems that even without any set footage the film has already managed to impress Dastmalchian.
"I can say Ant-Man and The Wasp is going to do things in the Marvel universe that they haven't gotten an opportunity to do yet," he told Entertainment Weekly. "I just got some tidbits the other day and they're mind-blowing.
"It's going to be really cool."
Considering some of the astounding effects we've already seen in Guardians of the Galaxy and Doctor Strange, we can't begin to imagine how much more mind-blowing things can possibly get.
Not much is known about Ant-Man and the Wasp right now, but what we do know is that Paul Rudd is returning as the shrinking superhero, with Evangeline Lilly reprising her role as Hope van Dyne (soon to be The Wasp).
Michael Douglas will also be back to reprise his role as Hank Pym, while Michael Pena will return as Scott's friend Luis and we may even be about to see Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange to after that film's director Scott Derrickson confirmed a connection to Ant-Man in Doctor Strange's psychedelic sequence.
Either way, we'll have to wait until Ant-Man and The Wasp is released on June 29, 2018 (July 6 in the US) to find out.
If you're desperate for more Marvel action to come your way a little bit sooner, though, there's always Spider-Man: Homecoming coming in July and Thor: Ragnarok landing in October this year as well.
