What's happened to Samira? Love Island fans concerned as they spot bandage on her elbow

Love Island fans were concerned for Samira Mighty after spotting a large plaster on her arm during the latest episode, days after she was “missing” from the show.

The West End performer, who is coupled up with her BFF Dr Alex George, was elated after finding out new boy Sam Bird was on his way into the villa.

Samira sped to the Beach Hut in a flap, clearly pleased at having been given a shot at love after weeks of single life.

But as she raised her arms wildly, eagle-eyed viewers noticed a large plaster on her elbow and searched social media to see if everything was alright.

One wrote: “Why’s Samira got a bandage on her elbow?? Anything to do with why she left the villa the other day? #LoveIsland.”

Another said: “Okay but what happened to Samira’s elbow tho? #LoveIsland.”

“What happened to Samira’s elbow though that’s what I wanna know #LoveIsland,” asked a third.

The concern comes days after fans of the ITV2 show complained that Samira had hardly been shown in one of the episodes.

The 22-year-old appeared to be absent from a good proportion of footage on Tuesday night.

Even as the islanders were shown in bed, viewers worried as they couldn’t see Samira – who thankfully returned in the next episode.
