The driver and passenger of a Smart car were seriously injured in a two-car smash.

Sergeant Tim Davies said: “I’d like to hear from anyone who was driving in the area and may have witnessed what happened or the events leading up to it.

“I also encourage anyone who has a dash cam fitted to please review your footage as you may have captured something which could help us with our investigation.

“I’m also keen to trace the driver of a black car which is reported to have been in the area at the time but left the scene prior to police arriving.”
