Another European music festival has revealed a huge 2018 lineup, with Norway’s Øya Festival announcing Arcade Fire and Kendrick Lamar as headliners.

The world-renowned artists will join previously announced headliner Lykki Li at Oslo’s biggest musical event between August 7-11.

Arcade Fire released their fifth studio album Everything Now in 2017, while Kendrick Lamar also released the hugely successful album DAMN. last year.

The festival also boasts a strong selection of UK music, with rockers Wolf Alice, grime artist J Hus and 2018 Brits critics choice award winner Jorja Smith all set to perform over the weekend.

As well as fantastic music, the 18,000 capacity festival prides itself on taking a sustainable approach, and has a reputation as one of the world’s greenest festivals.

The food served at the festival is also nearly all locally and organically sourced, with 50% of dishes meat-free.

Week passes for the festival are priced at 2804 NOK (around £257). Tickets are available now.
