Ariana Grande is paying tribute to her former boyfriend Mac Miller more than a month after his tragic death.

The rapper was found dead at age 26 at his home in California's San Fernando Valley in September, with Ariana mourning him on social media shortly thereafter by sharing a photo of the two together.

On Monday (October 22), Ariana posted a video on her Instagram Story of Miller playfully chatting with her beloved grandmother. The clip hauntingly ends with Miller turning around to lovingly smile at the singer.

Shortly after his death, Ariana penned an Instagram message in which she admitted that she'd long feared Miller's death when they were together. The hip-hop star was open about his addiction struggles.

"I can't believe you aren't here anymore," she previously wrote. "I really can't wrap my head around it. we talked about this. so many times. i'm so mad, i'm so sad i don't know what to do. you were my dearest friend. for so long. above anything else.

"I'm so sorry i couldn't fix or take your pain away. i really wanted to. the kindest, sweetest soul with demons he never deserved. i hope you're okay now. Rest."

It has been a very difficult few weeks for Ariana, seeing as she also reportedly split from her fiancé, Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson, after a whirlwind romance over the summer.

"Time to say bye bye to the internet for just a lil bit," she announced after the split. "It's hard not to bump news n stuff that i'm not tryna to see rn. it's very sad and we're all tryin very hard to keep goin. love u. and thank u for bein here always."
