Chris Heck reveals when Aston Villa's 2024/25 adidas kit will be unveiled

Chris Heck has confirmed Aston Villa will launch their new adidas home kit on Tuesday, July 23.

Anticipation has been growing in recent weeks for when Villa will unveil their new strip, which will be manufactured by adidas for the first time. The slight delay is due to the date in which Villa managed to strike an agreement with the sportswear giants.

"The kits, we started with the kit design as soon as we completed the agreement with adidas," Heck explained on VillaTV last month. "That kit design usually takes 18 to 24 months.

"We are a little bit behind and we have a lot of people working very hard to accomplish our goals and having them ready. We expect to launch the home kit in the first few days after the Euros and then on-sale will follow after."

The club were also busy terminating the deal with Castore and taking on a new front-of-shirt sponsor Betano too. The Greek betting platform will be on their tops, rather than BK8.

In an update, Heck has confirmed on X that Villa will be launching their new kit next Tuesday, ahead of the club's pre-season tour of the USA.

Villa will wear their temporary white adidas kit against Spartak Trnava, like they did against Walsall on Wednesday night.
