When Aston Villa's adidas kit will go on sale after Chris Heck update

Chris Heck has confirmed Aston Villa are planning to launch their new adidas home kit in the days following the conclusion of Euro 2024.

Anticipation has been growing in recent weeks for when Villa will unveil their new strip, which will be manufactured by adidas for the first time. The slight delay is due to the date in which Villa managed to strike an agreement with the sportswear giants.

"The kits, we started with the kit design as soon as we completed the agreement with adidas," Heck explained on VillaTV. "That kit design usually takes 18 to 24 months.

"We are a little bit behind and we have a lot of people working very hard to accomplish our goals and having them ready.

"We expect to launch the home kit in the first few days after the Euros and then on-sale will follow after."

The club were also busy terminating the deal with Castore deal and taking on a new front-of-shirt sponsor Betano too. The Greek betting platform will be on their tops, rather than BK8.

Newcastle have also moved from Castore adidas Adidas this summer. Their new 2024-25 Adidas home shirt officially went on sale from Friday, June 7.
