iPad users interested in buying the new Audi A3 can now take a closer look at the car through their tablet device.
The Audi A3 app enables users to explore the inside of the vehicle, seeing all the interiors with a 360-degree visualiser that works in tandem with the iPad's built-in gyroscope.
You can even see what the car would look like on your driveway. The "On your drive" feature uses augmented reality to place the car in your usual parking space by pointing the iPad at your designated spot. You can resize the car and rotate it so that it fits, providing a glimpse of your automobile future - should you decide to shell out on the car, of course.
The Audi A3 app, developed by Audi UK and Somo, also allows users to browse through an array of images of the car, order a brochure, find your nearest Audi dealer and request a test drive.
The app is available now to download free from iTunes. If you don't have an iPad, you can always read our hands-on look at the Audi A3.
