Avengers 4 set photo reveals a surprise return
Warning: Contains spoilers for Avengers 4 and recent Marvel movies
Avengers: Infinity War is being billed as the biggest superhero movie ever, but its sequel might be shaping up for an even larger cast.
Gwyneth Paltrow has been spotted shooting the untitled movie, which was confirmed when Happy Hogan actor (and director of the first two Iron Man films) Jon Favreau posted a picture of her with him and Robert Downey Jr.

Paltrow has seemed lukewarm on her future as Pepper Potts in the MCU in recent years – then went and surprised us by making a cameo at the end of Spider-Man: Homecoming.
The picture also seems to confirm what we had assumed already – that Downey's Iron Man will survive into Avengers 4, which marks the conclusion of Marvel Studios' Phase Three. Beyond that, we don't like to speculate.
Infinity War is expected to set up the events of Avengers 4 – although Ant-Man and the Wasp and the flashback movie Captain Marvel will be released in between them.
Avengers 4 will be released in the UK on April 26, 2019, and in the US on May 3, 2019.
