While the stars of Manchester City and United are gearing up for today's big match, excitement is building for their loved ones. Families of Manchester's top footballers have shared images on Instagram on their way to Wembley for the FA Cup final today (May 25).

It's the second year in a row that the city rivals are meeting in the last round of the FA Cup, following City's 2-1 win last year. Wives of some of the Premier League's biggest footballers have shared moving moments online as they prepare for today's big game.

For little Ronnie Foden, son of Premier League footballer of the year Phil Foden, today should be an exciting one. His dad, the City star dubbed the 'Stockport Iniesta', is in the form of his life and could play a starring role at Wembley today.

On Ronnie's official Instagram page, run by his parents, the youngster was photographed in City kit stopped at a services on the way down to Wembley. A caption on the photo reads: "Stop [off] on the way to Wembley - come on City."

Meanwhile, the wife of United star Bruno Fernandes also shared a moving photo of their son looking out at the Wembley pitch ahead of the game. Ana Pinho posted the image with the caption "Here" including a love heart.

While Fernandes' son looked on at Wembley in awe and wonder, the wife of another United star seemed to be having a lot more fun on the way to the match. Maja Nilsson Lindelöf, wife of United defender Victor Lindelöf, shared a picture of her shopping bag from an M40 service station.

It contained a little bottle of fizz and a bottle of orange juice. The caption reads: "Mimosa and Wembley here we come."
