Carrick History Society has launched an online survey to help inform and improve its marketing strategy.

The group is a charity dedicated to researching, recording, collecting, interpreting and publishing information on the pre-history and history (human and natural) of Carrick.

And they are keen to increase numbers and the depth of member involvement. As a result they want to hear the views of those in Ayrshire and beyond and have issued an appeal for help via social media.

A spokesperson for the group said: “We are delighted to be supported by Community Enterprise who are helping us with a marketing strategy. As part of this session of support, they have helped us come up with a survey. We greatly value the support of our membership, and we’re keen to increase numbers and the depth of member involvement. To help us with this we are asking members to share their views by completing a short survey.”

In a direct appeal, the group said: “The survey is anonymous, and should take less than 10 minutes to complete. Your honest feedback is crucial to informing our future plans and will help us make membership a better experience for you.

“This survey is part of some broader support we’re receiving from independent consultants Community Enterprise. If you would like to contribute any thoughts in more detail, in addition to completing this survey, please contact Community Enterprise at margot@communityenterprise.co.uk. All information gathered will be confidential and responses will be recorded on Microsoft Forms and Community Enterprise.”

To access the survey go to Carrick History Society’s Facebook page.
