Balaclava-clad gang storm home near A449 in Stourton and leave woman shaken

A gang of masked men stormed a Staffordshire home before fleeing with a horde of expensive items and cash. The men broke into the Stourton property armed with a metal bar and swiped six designer watches, handbags, a mobile phone, and approximately £1,500 cash.

The terrifying raid took place at a property just off the A449 Prestwood Road just before 1am on Friday, June 14. A woman in her 40s who was inside the property was left shaken by the incident but thankfully wasn't injured.

Staffordshire Police has been carrying out door-to-door enquiries in a bid to track down the suspects. A spokesperson for the force said: "Detectives are appealing for information following an aggravated burglary in Stourton.

"We were called to reports of four men wearing balaclavas breaking into a home, off the A449 Prestwood Road, just before 1am on Friday. After threatening the occupant with a metal bar, the men left the property with six designer watches, handbags, a mobile phone, and approximately £1,500 cash.

"We are reviewing CCTV footage of the area at the time of the incident and carrying out house-to-house inquiries. The victim, a woman in her 40s, has been left shaken by her ordeal but was thankfully not injured.
