Barbra Streisand is celebrating two special occasions with her husband James Brolin!

On Monday, July 1, the singer and actress, 82, shared a glam wedding photo of the couple on Instagram as she marked not only their 26th wedding anniversary, but also the anniversary of the day they first met nearly three decades ago.

"28 years today since we met honey… and 26 years today since we married!" she wrote, adding a sweet message for the Hollywood star: "Love you. B ❤️."

In the photo from their 1998 nuptials, a smiling Brolin, now 83, looks dapper in a classic black tuxedo as he poses with his arm around Streisand, who is wearing a white, lacy off-the-shoulder wedding dress.

Streisand and Brolin first met in 1996 at a blind date dinner party when she was 54 and he was 56. They tied the knot two years later in a backyard ceremony at the "You Don't Bring Me Flowers" singer's home in Malibu, California.

In his emotional wedding speech, the actor expressed his gratitude for having found love again with the Prince of Tides star. Brolin was previously married to Jane Cameron Agee and Jan Smithers, while Streisand was previously wed to Elliott Gould.

"I can't tell you how lucky I am that this would happen to me so late in life," Brolin said in his speech. "Every night is a new adventure. Sleeping is a waste of time. I can't wait to see [Streisand] again in the morning."

When the couple reached their 20th wedding anniversary in 2018, Brolin reflected on the milestone in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. He shared at the time that his secret to a healthy, happy marriage is couples therapy.

"I do believe in counseling if anybody ever has a problem in their marriage," he told the outlet. "Bring in a referee, talk it over, and I swear to you, it will dispel by the end of the session, each time."

Streisand later offered her own marriage insight in 2021, telling Variety that "the secret is to listen carefully" to your spouse.

While both Streisand and Brolin have enjoyed successful careers independently for decades, Brolin has shared his desire to one day work with his wife on a project, with him as an actor and her as a director.

"We had two projects we read out loud a couple times that she wanted to do. She wanted to direct both," the Traffic star told AARP magazine in June 2022. "I'm fine with it, but she keeps thinking I'm going to be a rascal to direct. I tell her, 'No, I'm putty in every director's hands.' "
