BBC presenter takes break over health battle as fans rush to support her

Fans have rushed to support a popular BBC presenter after she revealed a health battle. BBC Sport presenter Emma Jones has revealed she's taking a break from her broadcasting duties to focus on her health after a challenging period.

Emma took to social media to announce her decision, explaining that her health struggles have led to her spending more time in hospital than at home. Fans rushed to support her on social media.

"My health hasn't been in a great place for quite some time now and I've spent more time in hospital than my own home," Emma shared on Twitter. "I'm taking time away from work/life to focus on getting back to full strength. I'll be back soon."

Support poured in for Emma in the comments section, with fans sending their best wishes. One fan responded: "Get well soon EJ, health is the most important thing. Wishing you a speedy recovery so we can enjoy your punditry again."

Another fan empathised with Emma's situation by sharing their own health battle: "@eljonesuk I am having chemo right now so I know what it's like not to be well or feel well. take as much time as you need Emma, your career will be awaiting your return xxx sending prayers and lots of love."
