BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Ellie Leach told she looks 'unreal' as she ditches UK after 'hard' life update

Ellie Leach has been branded 'unreal' as she posed for a string of gorgeous selfies after ditching the UK. The actress is currently enjoying a well-earned break in the sunshine after a busy first six months of the year that has seen her travelling up and down the country.

After winning Strictly Come Dancing last year, alongside professional dancer partner Vito Coppola, the pair and a number of their co-stars from the last series of the BBC One dance contest performed in arenas up and down the UK in the Strictly Come Dancing Live 2024 tour.

But following her success in the BBC One dance contest, Ellie landed her first stage role in the play Cluedo 2 - The Next Chapter. She took over the role from Helen Flanagan at the eleventh hour and hit the ground running following the end of the Strictly tour in February.

After months of playing Miss Scarlett in the play, Ellie revealed the tour was taking a brief break and soon, she had jetted off to sunnier climes. Taking to Instagram earlier this week, the former Coronation Street star, who shot to fame playing Faye Windass in the ITV soap, shared a beautiful snap of her mum, Karen, sitting outside for a night-lit dinner. "On our holibobs finally," Ellie said.

She's now taken to social media to share some glam snaps as she made the most of her holiday glow. In the photos, 23-year-old Ellie looked gorgeous as she sported a black off the shoulder top which she wore tucked into a pair of fitted white jeans. She posed for the camera by covering her eyes in a pair of black designer sunglasses before accessorising with a red bag on her shoulder and matching red lipstick.

Ellie captioned the post with just a simple heart emoji but despite the lack of words alongside the post, her friends, fans and followers were quick to respond.

And it appears Ellie had been keeping up with her comments as she has since added a message which simply read: "Thank you everyone." It comes after Ellie recently admitted it can be difficult being on the road, despite making a great group of friends who she's often seen venturing out and about with during breaks from being on stage.

Sharing a photo of herself to Instagram over the weekend as she enjoyed a soak in the bath, the former soap star shared: "It's our last two shows tomorrow before a weeks break! I'm loving doing this show and seeing different parts of the country, but touring is also difficult!

"Being away from home and family is hard and not being able to fully settle in places as you're not there for long enough, it sometimes makes me feel like I don't know where to place myself..." But she added: "I'm lucky to have my cluedo friends around me to remind me that we're all touring together and we're not alone! Finding time to just light a candle and switch off is really important for me and I find it just really helps me re centre!"
