BBC Weather is predicting a mini heatwave in London next week. From Monday, June 24, to Friday, June 28, temperatures will peak at 25C.

Meanwhile, the Met Office’s forecast doesn’t stretch as far as the BBC’s, but it does say that next Monday too will be 25C, so it’s looking very promising. Good weather has been a rarity in recent weeks, so it will be most welcome after the tumultuous June we have had so far.

Although it won’t be as warm as next week, this week’s hardly going to be cold. Today (June 18) and tomorrow (June 19) will be 21C, while Thursday (June 20) and Friday (June 21) will hit 22C), according to BBC Weather.

London weather forecast

According to The Met Office today (Tuesday, June 18) will be ‘generally dry and fine for most, and feeling pleasantly warm. It adds: "Tonight will see ‘variable cloud amounts overnight but allowing clear spells at times. Winds generally light inland, but a more noticeable breeze around the coast. Minimum temperature 11C’."

Tomorrow (June 19) ‘should be a predominantly dry day with sunny spells and some patchy fair weather cloud. Feeling pleasantly warm inland, but cooler around the coast with onshore breezes. Maximum temperature 22C’.

While from Thursday (June 20) through to Saturday (June 22) it will be ‘dry, fine, warm Thursday and most of Friday, although low chance heavy rain early Friday. Cloud and rain moving east late Friday, clearing early Saturday then drier and brighter. Breezier’.
