Bella Hadid's 'dream comes true' with Saint Laurent partnership

Bella Hadid's dreams have come true by becoming the latest face of Saint Laurent.

The 27-year-old, who took a brief hiatus from modelling, has made her comeback in the Autumn/Winter 2024 campaign for the luxury French house.

In the debut image from the campaign, shot by photographer Gray Sorrenti, Bella lays on a bed next to a brown faux-fur coat wearing a ribbed white dress with lace trim and a black belt.

Bella shared the picture on Instagram on Thursday and thanked Saint Laurent creative director Anthony Vaccarello.

"Thank you Anthony and the entire team. You made my 18 year old dreams come true with this," she captioned the post before thanking Sorrenti, her hairstylist Duffy and make-up artist Kanako Takase and adding, "I (heart) You."

This marks Bella's first fashion campaign of the year and her first in almost 10 months, since she appeared in a promo for Heaven by Marc Jacobs in September.

The news has made fashion fans wonder if Bella soft-launched her partnership with Saint Laurent when she wore its sheer black gown at the Cannes Film Festival back in May.

WWD reported at the time that Bella's show-stopping red carpet appearance generated $7.2 million (£5.7 million) of media impact value (MIV) for the company, significantly boosting awareness of the brand.

The partnership comes several months after the catwalk star took an unofficial step back from modelling to focus on her health.

"After 10 years of modelling, I realised I was putting so much energy and love and effort into something that, in the long run, wasn't necessarily giving it back to me," she explained to Allure in May.
