Westworld season 3 is quite a while off and we don't know too much about what to expect yet, but one cast member has confirmed that he won't be returning.

Ben Barnes played Logan Delos in the first two seasons of the HBO hit, before dying of an overdose.

But since this is such a twist show, and with Logan's brother James talking about the idea of making people immortal by putting their brains in host bodies, is there a chance he could come back?

"I think I'm definitely dead," the actor told Digital Spy. "It felt pretty definitive the last time."

Oh. Well now we know for sure at least.

Another show Barnes won't be returning to (because it has been cancelled) is Marvel and Netflix's The Punisher.

He said he would definitely miss playing Billy Russo because "I was enjoying it so much, especially the second season. Playing that character felt so freeing but I felt better knowing all those shows were being cancelled and it wasn't personal.

"It's like the difference between you getting fired and the company folding, it feels less personal."

One show Ben Barnes *will* be in the BBC's new drama miniseries called Gold Digger, about a woman who has a relationship with a much younger man.

Westworld returns to HBO in the US and Sky Atlantic/NOW TV in the UK in 2020.
