Big Brother 2023 odds: Who is the new favourite to win?
There is now a clear frontrunner to win the reality show
Big Brother has a new favourite ahead of the show's eagerly anticipated final.
The ITV show made an explosive comeback to our screens after five years and eagle-eyed viewers recognised some of the Big Brother housemates from TV before – including stints on Come Dine With Me, Blankety Blank and Deal or No Deal.
As the final looms on Friday 17 November, we have got to know all of the housemates and some of them have captured the nation's hearts - while others have sparked outrage.
For weeks, Yinrun Huang was the clear favourite to win the show, before loveable posh food critic Henry Southan took over.
But now Jordan Sangha has emerged as the hot favourite.
Big Brother winner odds:
Jordan Sangha – 4/6
Olivia Young – 3/1
Yinrun Huang – 9/2
Henry Southan – 7/1
Noky Simbani – 40/1
Who is going to win Big Brother 2023?
Lawyer Jordan now has odds of 4/6 to win Big Brother 2023, according to gambling company BetVictor, making him the clear leader as the show approaches the end.
Spokesperson Sam Boswell said Sangha has been rising up the rankings in recent days, with Olivia Young currently his closest competition.
“Henry has been leading the market for the last week, but now Jordan is the frontrunner to win at 4/6," Boswell said.
"His odds have improved massively since Tuesday, when he was priced at 10/1.
"He has been his witty self for the duration of the show, with great one-liners, and now he’s backed to go all the way.
“Olivia has emerged as our second favourite to win at 9/4.
"When the market first opened, she was priced up at 20/1, but now she’s behind Jordan’s tail at 3/1.
"She has been one of the best housemates – she has provided comedy, drama, vulnerability and owned her mistakes.”
What happened to Yinrun?
Huang had been a firm favourite for weeks and looked set to win the resurrected show.
However, she has been annoying viewers with her tears and now her popularity seems to have slipped.
"Yinrun had been the favourite to win since the first day until this week when Henry knocked her off, and now Jordan and Olivia have," said Boswell.
"She’s not as popular with the punters now and has drifted significantly to 9/2.”
Elsewhere, Boswell said Southan's odds "have ended up much shorter than his initial 25/1 early in the series".
"He was our favourite to win earlier in the week, but now he’s drifted again at 7/1," he said.
"His bromance with Jordan has taken the main stage throughout the series, as the pair have been inseparable.”
Noky is trailing
The housemate least likely to triumph is Noky Simbani.
Her odds have improved and she is now at 40/1 but Boswell said she is still the "rank outsider".
"She was 100/1 to win at the start of the month, but we still don’t think she will win," he said.
