Bond 25: Aston Martin announces new car to be driven by Daniel Craig

The car that’ll be featured in the next James Bond film has been unveiled.

Aston Martin’s new hypercar – called the Valhalla – is priced at £1.5m and will be one of three vehicles to appear in Daniel Craig’s final outing as 007.

According to This is Money, the new car will replace the Aston Martin DB10, a fictional model created for 2015 film Spectre

The Valhalla, though, will be available to buy. It’s said to be powered by a specially-developed turbocharged V6 petro engine that can get the car from zero to 60mph in less than three secons.

It was made in collaboration with Red Bull Advanced Technologies.

Aston Martin said: “Employing lightweight construction methods and radical aerodynamics pioneered in Valkyrie, Valhalla will be propelled by a combination of high-efficiency, high-output turbocharged V6 petrol engine and battery-electric hybrid system.”

The currently untitled Bond 25, which was initially meant to be directed by Danny Boyle, was recently given the working title ‘Shatterhand’.

Naomie Harris and Léa Seydoux will return for the film that’ll star Bohemian Rhapsody Oscar-winner Rami Malek as the chief villain.

The film will be directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga.
