Nigel Farage could be about to hit Hollywood as a major TV series about Brexit is reportedly in the works.

The £60m, six-part series is based on the book ‘The Bad Boys of Brexit’ by Ukip donor and Brexit campaigner Arron Banks.

Mr Farage was a key player in the EU Referendum campaign and Sherlock star Benedict Cumberbatch is said to be one of the front-runners to play him.

House of Cards Oscar-winner Kevin Spacey is also one of the names in the running to play the former Ukip leader.

Mr Farage has other ideas, however, joking to the Daily Telegraph: “I am hoping if they do make the film, I think I should play me. I am really good at being me.”
