Britain's Got Talent's Alesha Dixon shares family 'connection' to Ant McPartlin's baby

Alesha Dixon has revealed that she has a family 'connection' to Ant McPartlin's baby son, with her revealing that the little one has the same birthday as her mum.

After recent photos of Ant's wife Anne-Marie suggested that she was expecting the couple's first child together, a delighted Ant took to Instagram on Tuesday afternoon to announce the safe arrival of their baby boy. Next to a black and white picture of him cradling the baby, Ant wrote: "Welcome to the family. Wilder Patrick Mcpartlin.. Born, 14/05/24 at 8.54am. Baby is beautiful, Mummy’s a legend, Sisters are over the moon. Dad’s a mess!"

It didn't take long for the messages of congratulations to come flooding in for Ant and Anne-Marie and one of those came from the ITV presenter's Britain's Got Talent co-star Alesha, who shared her personal connection to the little one, as she commented: "Awwwww darling I’m so happy for you both! Baby shares the same birthday as my mummy! Can’t wait to meet buba and to celebrate soon! Love you both"

Alesha wasn't the only BGT judge to head to the comments section, with Amanda Holden too sending her best wishes, as she responded: "Oh my gosh, this is just the most amazing news. Congratulations." Among the many other stars to react to Ant's big news, with former Britain's Got Talent champion and guest judge Ashley Banjo writing: "Congrats guys" and Ashley Glazebrook, one half of BGT Champion of Champions winners Twist & Pulse, replying: "Huge congrats to you all"

Ant and Dec are currently on screen in the new series of Britain's Got Talent, with millions tuning into watch the audition rounds over the last month. With of all the judges now having hit the Golden Buzzer, with Amanda pressing it twice, the countdown is now on for the live semi finals, which the Geordie duo are due to host in a few weeks time.
