Britney Spears is praised for finishing Las Vegas show after she's left shaken by 'Crazy' stage invader

Britney Spears experienced a terrifying moment during her concert this week when a man crashed the stage and lunged at her.

She was praised by fans for finishing the show on Wednesday despite the stage intrusion during her performance of ‘Crazy’, when the man, identified as Jesse Webb, ran at her from behind.

He reportedly did cartwheels on the stage and some audience members shouted ‘he has a gun’ before security grabbed him and put themselves between him and the star to protect her.

The LVMPD said of the incident: ‘On August 9, 2017, officers from the LVMPD arrested 37 year old Jesse Webb for trespassing during a Britney Spears concert.

‘Webb was asked to leave the concert by security prior to him jumping on stage and dancing. Webb was transported to the Clark County Detention Center.’

Jesse was arrested and seemed delighted with himself as he smiled in his police mugshot, pictured below.

Hours beforehand, Britney tweeted how excited she was to be back on stage at her Piece Of Me concert, which runs at Planet Hollywood until the end of December.
