Yahoo News Brooke Vincent says 'you're telling me' after cheeky message from footballer fiancé over milestone
Brooke Vincent was left telling her fiance 'you're telling me' after he shared a cheeky message in view of her fans and followers as she marked their latest milestone. The actress is currently spending periods of time away from home as she makes her stage debut.
As of last week, the former Coronation Street star is touring the country in The Syndicate alongside a number of familiar faces. It was revealed back in November that the 31-year-old will be starring in the late Kay Mellor’s final stage play that will be touring across the UK, including a stop at The Lowry.
Based on the BBC One show of the same name, the play will tell the story of five supermarket workers whose lottery syndicate numbers come in just as their jobs and livelihoods are under threat. It is being directed by Kay’s daughter and former Emmerdale actress Gaynor Faye in her late mum's name.

Brooke, who shot to fame playing Sophie Webster from 2004 to 2019 in ITV's Corrie, is playing Amy, the sister-in-law of supermarket assistant Jamie, who will be played by Gaynor's son Oliver Anthony in his theatrical debut after singer Max George was forced to withdraw from the role, while former Emmerdale actress Samantha Giles also stars.
But amidst her new touring schedule while also managing her family life and business commitments, Brooke took time out to mark her anniversary with former footballer Kean Bryan.
Sharing a couple of recent pictures of the pair together, the 31-year-old wrote on Instagram: "Eight & what an eight years they’ve been. Full of fun, chaos & love! Forever my safe space!! Here’s to many more years of you rolling your eyes at me, telling me you’ve not sat down all day and moaning at my driving."
In response, Kean, 27, who most recently played for West Bromwich Albion before he retirement, quipped: "Eight v long years [crying laughing emoji]," before adding: "Love ya." Brooke then responded: "You’re telling me!" as her friends and followers then proceeded to share their birthday wishes.
Cousin and Strictly Come Dancing winner Ellie Leach said: "Happy anniversary you two." Former Corrie co-star Sally Carman-Duttine replied: "Gorgeous. Happy Anniversary to you both."
