Britain's Got Talent was embroiled in 'fix row' as a Golden Buzzer act was instantly recognised for appearing on another TV show. Outraged fans of Britain's Got Talent have cried 'fix' after it emerged that a Golden Buzzer act has previously collaborated with a well-known pop star.

The beloved talent show made its comeback on Saturday, showcasing a plethora of acts from around the nation all vying for the chance to perform at the Royal Variety Performance and to scoop the massive £250,000 prize money. It wasn't long before one act wowed viewers with her singing prowess, securing her place in the live shows.

Taryn Charles, 39, brought the house down with her rendition of Aretha Franklin's (You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman, leaving the audience and judges - Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Bruno Tonioli, and Alesha Dixon - on their feet in applause. The judges lavished praise on her for the stirring performance.

Her moment of glory was amplified when Bruno hit his Golden Buzzer, catapulting her directly into the live semi-finals. Taryn shared insights into her life, revealing that she is not only a singer but also works as a special needs educator, employing music as a tool for rehabilitation.

During her audition, she expressed her desire to join the show to "make people smile.", reports the Mirror. However, Taryn appeared to be a familiar face to some quick-witted viewers, who'd recognised her from another ITV singing show. According to on-the-ball watchers, she had already made an appearance on Starstruck, Olly Murs's show that offers singers the chance to transform into their musical icons.

The popular series has judging panel comprised of Sheridan Smith, Adam Lambert, and Beverley Knight. Fans swiftly voiced their displeasure, with one individual writing: "Taryn Charles is already a professional singer, so you would expect her to have a good voice. Not fair on all the amateurs."

Another observer noted: "I remember Taryn from Starstruck # BGT." A third added to the discussion, writing: "Yet again another professional singer? ? Taryn Charles. What has happened to #BGT? ".

In other news, both judges and viewers were highly impressed by dancers Abigail, seven, and Afronitaaa, 20, who put on what was dubbed 'the best audition yet. ' Amanda Holden remarked: "You are two of the most fantastic dancers we have ever had on Britain's Got Talent."

Despite the rave reviews, some were not happy that they did not receive a Golden Buzzer. One Twitter user wrote: "@antanddec should've broken the rules and pushed the golden buzzer a second time for Abigail. THAT is what that buzzer is for! #BGT #BritainsGotTalent", while others echoed their sentiment, stating "That last act was amazing .. really deserved a golden buzzer #BGT" and "No golden buzzer? How? #BGT."
