Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz say they're 'heartbroken' over sad loss

Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz say they are "heartbroken" over a tragic family loss. Brooklyn, who is Victoria and David’s son, has admitted alongside his wife Nicola that they "miss you so much" after a "tough month" and bereavement.

Brooklyn and Nicola have confirmed pet pooch Nala has passed away. The chihuahua died following a salon appointment and a trip to the groomers. The pair typed: "Dear Nala, we miss you so much. You were unexpectedly taken from way us too soon and hope others don’t experience a loss after something as simple as a grooming.

"You were the cutest little baby girl and we will always think of you. We know you are looking and barking down on us x We love you so much and miss you beyond." Nicola continued: "I can’t even find the words to describe my heartbreak on so many levels.

"Nala was perfectly healthy when she went to the groomers yesterday but came out hyperventilating and couldn’t catch her breath. We rushed her to the vet and she passed hours later. I’m sharing this in hopes that it might prevent this from happening to other dogs.

"Her life was taken away from her way too soon. She was my beautiful queen and stayed by my side for nine years through everything." An Instagram user said: "I would destroy that groomer ! Please have this investigated ! As a groomer myself , I’ve seen horrible things and not everyone should be trusted with pets. So sad."

"As a professional groomer myself, did the vet state that the groomer did anything to harm your dog? With the baby being a senior there could have been an underlying health condition that was aggravated by grooming. Grooming is stressful for dogs and with seniors too much stress can be killer. It doesn’t mean the groomer hurt your pet in anyway. We know how to watch for signs of stress but some things just happen. A co worker of mine had a dog die on her table because it had a heart condition the owners weren’t aware of nor took care of," a second wrote.

And another said: "Did the groomer use one of those drying kennels/boxes? My chihuahuas have never been to a groomer, i do them myself in the sink or bath. Especially short haired chihuahuas. Nails are done only at the vets - they have emergency oxygen if they become distressed x"
